Macierzanki Community Garden in Kraków

The Macierzanki Community Garden is a great example of grassroot initiative. It’s been started in 2018 as an initiative of a few young mothers who with great determination have transformed a derelict and neglected site into a thriving and vibrant garden. What also makes it unique is its location in a very densely populated area of the city. Thanks to this initiative not only gardeners but also the whole neighbourhood can benefit from that.
